Figuration was founded by Leo Crane and Roy Joseph Butler in 2016. Today, Leo manages creative production and consultancy at Figuration, while Roy runs workshops and community outreach through our charity partner Packed Lunch Productions.

Leo is producer, artist & educator, specialising in art & technology. Alongside his creative practice, he has 25 years’ experience devising and delivering campaigns for some of the world’s greatest cultural institutions.

Roy Joseph Butler
Co-Founder

Roy has a multi-faceted portfolio of experience as an events producer, programme manager, group facilitator, health advocate, mentor, writer and artists' model. His interest is in the tales not told and those creative endeavours that give them voice.

We are based in Coopers Yard, a dynamic community of creative businesses in the heart of the Crystal Palace triangle. Perched atop London's highest hill, 18 studios surround a cobbled courtyard, including a wellness centre, private cinema and pop-up bar.
