In November, we welcome back Maya Williams (they/them) (Class of May 2017). Since matriculating from the Academy, they have gone on to life model with individual artists and at schools and events in London and Berlin, including the Hampstead School of Art, Royal Institute of Architects and several Pride events. And as a cross-disciplinary performer, they have also featured in a number of short films as an actor and dancer and performed at the Barbican, Soho Theatre, Ovalhouse Theatre and The Albany.
This is a life drawing celebration of diverse body types and the validation of the life model experience, as featured in Figuration’s multi-award-winning animation Nude Triumphant.
All levels of drawing ability are welcome and encouraged.
